Today, I join family, friends, colleagues, and admirers across the country in celebrating a man I hold in high esteem a mentor, leader, and father figure — as he marks his 71st birthday.
Dr. Samson Amen Opaluwah, President of Khariz Group and Chairman of the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON), is a man whose life embodies leadership, service, and humility. Over the years, he has distinguished himself not only in the public and private sectors but also in the service of God and humanity.
I had the privilege of attending his 70th birthday celebration, where I listened with keen interest to the many tributes that poured in — each reflecting the profound impact he has had on countless lives. One year later, my conviction remains unshaken: he deserves every accolade, every flower, and much more.
Despite his towering achievements and positions of influence, Dr. Opaluwah has remained deeply approachable. He has a rare gift of engaging the younger generation with warmth and sincerity, offering mentorship, encouragement, and even financial assistance to those in need. His life demonstrates that true greatness is not measured by titles or positions but by the lives one touches and the legacies one leaves behind.
A dedicated Christian and an ardent follower of the cross, he has never separated his faith from his professional and social life. Instead, he exemplifies the values of service, integrity, and compassion in every sphere he finds himself.
As he enters this new chapter of life, I celebrate not just his age but the quality of his years — years filled with impact, faith, and unwavering commitment to the betterment of society.
Happy 71st birthday to a man of wisdom, grace, and enduring humility. May the years ahead be even more glorious in service to fatherland, humanity, and the body of Christ.
